Spain took the second place with 71 million 660 and the USA took the third place with 50 million 870 thousand. Turkey, on the other hand, ranked fourth among the countries of the world with 50 million 450 thousand visitors.

Tourism plays a crucial role in boosting economies worldwide, offering a plethora of opportunities for growth, employment, and cultural exchange. Turkiye stands out as a prime example of a country that has successfully harnessed the potential of tourism, providing valuable lessons for Nigeria to develop its industry. In this article, we will explore the tourism sector in Turkey, highlighting key factors that have contributed to its success, and discuss how Nigeria can emulate this success to bolster its tourism industry.
