SUPER Falcons of Nigeria goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie is sure the team will not be intimidated by home fans when they battle South Africa tomorrow.

The nine-time African champions and Women’s Africa Cup of Nations holders Banyana Banyana play the second leg of their Paris 2024 Olympics final round qualifying tie in Pretoria tomorrow.

The Super Falcons won the first leg 1-0 in Abuja on Friday and would qualify for their first Olympics since Beijing 2008 if they avoid defeat at the Loftus Versfield Stadium tomorrow evening.

“The Super Falcons are used to big battles. This one will not be any different,” African Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year Nnadozie said.

The Paris FC star recalled how the Super Falcons stunned co-hosts Australia 3-2 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s Cup despite the full stadium rooting for the Matildas.

“Australia were playing in their home ground at the World Cup but we defeated them,” Nnadozie added.

The Super Falcons are already in South Africa for the encounter having left Lagos last night and arrived in Johannesburg this morning.

Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football has appointed North African match officials for the second leg, with Tunisian Dorsaf Ganouati as referee and her compatriots Houda Afine and Emna Ajbouni as first assistant and fourth official respectively.

Egyptian Yara Atef Said Abdelfattah will be the second assistant referee.
