SPAIN have won the Euro 2024 European Championship title after defeating England 2-1 in the final in Berlin, Germany tonight.
Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal scored for the Spaniards as they won a record fourth European Championship trophy, while Cole Palmer struck for England, who have now lost back-to-back finals.
Spain took the lead in the 47th minute, Williams scoring off an assist from 17-year-old Lamine Yamal, but substitute Cole Palmer drew England level in the 73rd minute.
Another substitute, Oyarzabal, then struck a late winner with four minutes left on the clock for Spain as they added to the titles they won in 1964, 2008 and 2012.
