Ikeja Electric launches tool to track energy consumption

Ikeja Electric Plc (IE) launched a new platform over the weekend that will allow customers to track vending and energy usage.

The Singleview is an interactive platform that allows prepaid meter customers to view their vending patterns and consumption. It serves as a major touch point for prepaid meter customers to access personal information such as energy vending records, consumption history, month-over-month energy consumption, account number, account status, tariff class, and rates.

Customers can also use the Singleview platform to make energy payments, check their energy consumption and balance, and submit service inquiries, requests, or complaints, which will be immediately addressed by the Business Unit and Undertaking Office responsible for their particular area.

IE Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Folake Soetan, speaking on the sidelines of the platform launch stated that: as a customer-centric organization, the company is forward-thinking, inventive, and devoted to improving its customers’ experience.

She explained that by providing this option, which provides ease and timely service, IE has given its customers more power.

“The platform will enable customers to access the necessary information with ease. With the ability to track and understand their consumption and vending patterns, they are able to plan their energy need efficiently,” she said.

SingleView is targeted at only prepaid meter consumers on the Ikeja Electric network.

According to IE, Customers can access it by visiting the company’s website.
