Outspoken media personality Mide Oni has advised women to abstain from giving money to men under any circumstances.
During a session on The Mide Show, Mide Oni stated that women should stop financially supporting men, emphasising that men should work for their own money rather than rely on the women they are dating.
“Please, women, stop giving men money. No situation justifies even giving a man one pea. If a man asks you for money, say Mide Oni told you no situation will justify me giving you one pea.”
She also added, addressing the men, “Go and work because your mates are working. Do they have two heads? Don’t come to ask me for money.”
Reacting to those who believe relationships should involve financial support from both partners, she said:
“And you know, when I said this before, there’ll be men in the comments who say, but why should I not be able to ask the women that I’m dating for money? Is it not give and take? Is it not a relationship? Should we not be able to help each other? Sorry, damsel. Sorry, damsel in distress.”
She further urges men to work hard like others around them rather than rely on women for financial assistance.
