Gospel singer Kenny Saint Best, popularly known as KSB, has defended her decision to celebrate herself on Father’s Day.
KSB and her ex-husband, singer Eddy Brown of the now-defunct Remedies, divorced in 2012 after six years of marriage and two children.
The mother of two took to Instagram on Sunday, 21 June 2026, to celebrate herself, which drew criticism from some of her followers.
In response to a critic, she said that those who play fatherly roles should also celebrate themselves.
In a 2025 interview, the veteran singer said it wasn’t easy to raise her children alone.
“If there were a Daddy, we would have shared responsibilities, and I would have had my own me time. I sold my gold jewellery and even my car to pay school fees. I don’t have a house,” she said.
