ACTRESS Damilola Adegbite has shared an emotional message following her attendance at the memorial service held for actor Alexx Ekubo.
In a video posted on Instagram, the mother of one described the gathering as a reminder of life’s fragility and of how easily people can become preoccupied with wealth, success, and material possessions.
She noted that moments of loss often prompt individuals to reconsider what truly matters and the impact they are leaving behind.
Damilola emphasised that while enjoying God’s blessings and seizing life’s opportunities is important, there is a higher purpose beyond amassing possessions and pursuing personal ambitions.
She expressed her belief that people should aim to leave a positive legacy through their work, generosity, kindness, and relationships.
Damilola also urged everyone to live intentionally and regularly reflect on the legacy they are creating.
“What will people say about my life? How many lives have I added to?” she asked.
