The Osun State Police Command has arrested three suspects over the alleged unlawful possession of a human skull exhumed from a family grave in the state.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
Ojelabi said a resident of the state had reported on June 17 that he visited the grave of his late elder brother on June 15 within their family compound and discovered that the grave had been tampered with and the deceased’s skull removed by unknown persons.
The PPRO added that following the report, police operatives commenced an investigation and acted on credible intelligence which led to the arrest of Ojo.
