Running mate to Governor Seyi Makinde,the presidential candidate of the Allied Progressive Movement (APM) Bala Adamu Ibrahim said he agreed to take up the position due to his belief in the capacity of Makinde to move Nigeria forward,
When contacted through a telephone interview, the APM vice presidential candidate said Makinde is “not only a close friend but a very close political associate.”
Ibrahim said that his nomination is based on mutual trust and shared political vision, adding, “I feel very proud of my nomination as vice presidential candidate of APM because my selection is a monumental honor not just to my personal life but a historic milestone for my community and Bauchi State.”
He noted that the APM ticket represents a significant point of pride for Bauchi State, Darazo Local Government and the Sade community, marking the first time an indigene from the area has risen to such a high ranking position.
Investigation revealed that Bala Adamu Ibrahim is a 51-year- old politician and businessman popularly known as Bala Sade. He is a native of the Sade District in the Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State. Daily Trust gathered that he brings a mix of public service experience, grassroots political networking, and private sector expertise to the opposition party’s campaign. He is the son of a retired local government civil servant who served as a forestry supervisor.
