Ernest Asuzu’s family announces burial date

SEVERAL weeks after the death of Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu, his family members have announced his burial date.

According to the Obituary released by his wife, a service of songs will be held on Monday, April 12 for the actor, while he would be buried on April 13, 2021.

The venue for his burial would be at his family compound at Ndiehezie Arondizuogu, Imo State.

Ernest Asuzu, 49, slumped and died around 9 pm on Tuesday, January 26. His wife was said to have called fellow actor Desmond Elliot to announce the death of her husband.

Before his death, Ernest Asuzu sourced funds for his medical care by turning into a roadside beggar, which was followed by a backlash on the Nollywood industry for not looking after their own.
