OYO: Gunmen storm quarry site, kidnap two in Ibadan

THE State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of two people by gunmen at a quarry site at Dalli village located Ijebu-Ode-Ibadan road in Ibadan.

The incident was confirmed in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officers of the command, Gbenga Fadeyi.

Fadeyi said, “Efforts intensified to get them released and also arrest the abductors.”

This happened almost a month after the son of a famous poultry farmer, identified as Odetunde, was kidnapped at Oke Odan community in Apete area of Ibadan.
The kidnappers reportedly demanded N100m as ransom from the farmer.

Said  to be an undergraduate in the University of Ibadan was eventually released along Ibadan Iseyin road two days after he was kidnapped.
