THE movie industry has hit another high as the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has become the first movie to hit the billion dollar mark in global ticket sales this year.
The movie has continued to dominate the scene since it hit the screens barely two weeks ago. It was release on December 2021.
According to Sony, it is the first and only movie released in 2021 to do so and it is also the first movie to cross that mark since the pandemic began.
The movie was written by Chris McKenna and Erick Sommers.
It was directed by Jon Watts and produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal.
The production was by Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios and Pascal Pictures.

The movie earned more than $600 million worldwide in its opening weekend and continued the strong ticket sales throughout the lead-up and during the Christmas holiday.
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Marisa Tomei and Jacob Batalon.
