GUNMEN attacked Munu, a village in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) that is part of the Abaji area council, on yesterday night, killing two people there and kidnapping a large number of others.
According to a resident of the neighborhood, the shooters entered the neighborhood at 11 p.m.
The neighbor, who contacted newsmen this morning, revealed that the gunmen also robbed a provision store and a drinking joint during the operation, which lasted for roughly an hour.
The source added that “Some mobile policemen deployed to our neighbouring community of Rubochi, where a Federal Government College is located visited us about 30 minutes after the operation and they promised to come back for fact finding.”
The FCT police command spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, was yet to respond to enquiry on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
