ARSENAL forward Bukayo Saka has been spending part of his post-season holidays in Lagos.
The England international born in London to Nigerian parents arrived in his motherland on Wednesday night and was seen going around Lagos yesterday.
Saka was sighted in Bariga, a busy, highly populated part of the mainland in Nigeria’s former capital.
He was dressed in an all-white traditional outfit and freely interacted with the people, taking pictures with those who approached him.
Saka, who has given financial assistance to underprivileged Nigerian children in need of medical care, also visited a hospital and took pictures with some of the medical personnel.
The 21-year-old forward is expected to have an interactive session with Arsenal fans over the weekend before he leaves the country.
Saka had a brilliant campaign with Arsenal in the English Premier League in the just concluded season, registering 14 goals and 11 assists as they finished second in the table, their best placing since 2016.
The Premier League season ended last Sunday with Saka playing all of Arsenal 38 games.
The players will start reporting for pre-season in early to mid-July ahead of the 2023/2024 campaign that will start in August.
