Chef Dammy completes 120hours of cooking marathon

A Nigerian chef, Adeparusi Damilola, also known as Chef Dammy, has reached her goal of 120 hours of non-stop cooking as a single individual.

People who had gathered to cheer her on could be seen celebrating as she reached the 120-hour mark in a video posted to her Instagram page.

“Through it all, we came out. Not only did we come out, but we did it stronger, better, more resilient, and ready to take on more… Thank you for being there for us. We hit #120hours,” she wrote.

The chef began cooking at 12 a.m. on Friday with the goal of completing a historic 120-hour cooking marathon by an individual.

While some social media users chastised her for attempting to break Hilda Baci’s confirmed Guinness World Records attempt, others praised her for her bravery and ambition.
