THE governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, revealed today that his administration has planned to give palliatives to lessen the effects of the removal of subsidy.
This is happening a month after President Bola Tinubu declared in his inaugural speech on May 29, that the “fuel subsidy is gone” which caused an instantaneous increase in fuel prices around the nation.
According to a statement from his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke stated during a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholder meeting in Osogbo that his administration is prepared to make life simple for citizens of Osun state.
The governor emphasized his commitment to leading an administration that will make people happy.
Adeleke, who appreciated leaders of the PDP for their support since assuming office, noted that his administration had been working in line with “our election promises and the agenda of the party.”
